What a year! With 2021 on the horizon, it’s that time of year to reflect on the brighter moments from 2020 and share our top 5 projects from the year. We are kicking it off with TaskUs, a digital customer service company in San Antonio, Texas, with 77,000 square feet of office space. TaskUs wanted their space to showcase their fun and vibrant style. What was once a shopping mall decades ago has been transformed into an epic workspace with captivating colors and a playful atmosphere. How could you get bored working in an environment like this?

Next is a consulting company in Hartford, CT with 10,500 square feet of space. Infinity Group designed this space to embody the company’s culture, empower their employees, and showcase their fun style. Infinity Group created a space designed to connect you to the outdoors while providing a comforting and inviting workspace. Location based branding featuring phone booths and meeting rooms named after various beaches, parks, and other landmarks in the state, truly embraces the beauty of Connecticut.

2020 has reminded us that workplace safety is essential. NBC in Farmington, Connecticut wanted to safely bring their employees back to their studio and workspaces and needed a partner to develop a strategy. They trusted Infinity Group to audit their space for COVID-19 safety compliance as well as deliver a custom, secure solution that elegantly integrated into their existing aesthetic. Infinity Group reimagined 6,300 square feet of space to deliver a studio that makes employees and visitors feel at ease. Infinity Group Director of Construction, Martin Gedek, says “construction and installation of the desk dividers and felt panels needed to be done in a non-intrusive way. We had a tight timeline to get the work done and managed the logistics to avoid disruption of their day-to-day work.”

Finally, we take you to a pharmaceutical office, in Tariffville, Connecticut. With 8,000 square feet of space. Infinity Group expanded this company’s office footprint and maximized the value of the square footage they were already using in a beautiful way. Time-tested details are preserved throughout this otherwise modern office redesign. This pharmaceutical office is tucked away in the back of an historic mill building. Infinity Group renovated this space for the new reality of work while saving the touches that have survived decades. As you step through the doors, you will find an antique spiral metal staircase winding its way up one of the brick walls to a second story. You will also notice the original preserved wood ceiling. The main floor space is open and vast, and the two-story tall windows make it feel grand. While this space has an interesting past, it’s future is even brighter thanks to creative design and deep collaboration.
