Infinity Group is proud to collaborate with this consulting company on their architecture, design and construction of their new workspace. The space was designed to embody their culture, empower their employees and showcase their innovative style.
Their “resimercial” design connects you to the outdoors while providing a comforting and inviting space to work in. With the location based branding featuring phone booths and meeting rooms named after various beaches, parks and other landmarks in the state, this design embraces the beauty of Connecticut. Material selections and finishes include stark white mixed with rich earth tones and wood elements that highlight a traditional look; herringbone flooring, decorative and barrel vault ceilings, gold hardware in back splashes and storage areas.
The usage of natural lighting is key in the design of this unique space. Subtle lighting and dimmers were used throughout to allow for the ability to adjust to specific needs, providing a comfortable and productive environment with the user in mind. The workstations and rooms are designed to have direct views of the windows to maximize the light during the day.
The barrel vault ceiling is a centrally located media lounge that works as a bridge between quiet work zones and entertainment. This was designed in a way to provide employees with a flexible place to sit down with a laptop, socialize or collaborate on a project. Polished concrete flooring is used throughout parts of the space and LVT flooring in other high traffic areas to mitigate any traveling sound. Given the nature of the business, privacy and acoustics were a top priority in the designing of this space. Multiple telephone booths, interview and wellness rooms were installed to provide options for quiet spaces. The library is another area that includes meeting rooms, but also has a designated open work space for quiet focus work, with a “Please Do Not Disturb” vibe.
