Timeless Corporate Designs in 2025: Our Favorite Office Transformations
The way we work has changed, and so have the spaces that support us. In 2025, the workplace is no longer just a location—it’s a strategic asset that fosters collaboration, innovation, and culture. With hybrid work firmly established, companies are investing in offices that attract employees, enhance productivity, and reflect their evolving identities.
At Infinity Group, we see these shifts firsthand. Our 2025 Infinity Group LookBook highlights three standout projects that embrace the future of work—from a next-generation headquarters for a national energy company to a reimagined historic office for a pioneering software firm. But what trends are shaping the most successful work environments? Before you explore the LookBook, here are three essential themes driving workplace design today.
1. Workspaces Must Be Commute-Worthy
With remote work as an option, companies need to make their offices worth the trip. That means crafting environments where people want to be—places that foster engagement, creativity, and connection.
Take our project for a national insurance company near Richmond. The design embraces the idea of a “commute-worthy” workplace by blending productivity with comfort. Employees step into a reception area featuring custom hot-rolled steel and tile elements, setting the tone for a workspace that is both refined and energizing. Vibrant plum accents breathe life into workstations, while phone rooms with plush seating allow for deep focus. These details aren’t just aesthetic choices; they’re strategic. When an office is designed with intentionality, employees feel more engaged, more productive, and more eager to collaborate.
2. The Rise of Branded Environments
A company’s office is an extension of its brand. More than ever, businesses are designing workspaces that reinforce their values, culture, and market identity.
Our work with VMS Software in Boston illustrates this concept. Located in a historic Long Wharf building, the company wanted a space that honored tradition while embracing modern functionality. To achieve this balance, we preserved architectural elements like exposed brick and wooden beams while integrating custom workstations, high-tech meeting spaces, and collaborative lounges. The result? A workplace that tells VMS Software’s story—bridging its legacy in open-source solutions with a forward-thinking approach to work.
3. The Shift Toward Multi-Use Spaces
Gone are the days of rigid, single-purpose offices. Today’s most effective workspaces are dynamic, offering flexibility to accommodate various work styles and evolving business needs.
A prime example is our headquarters project for a national energy company in Connecticut. Spanning 23,000 square feet, this space prioritizes versatility. Employees can gather in one of three distinct cafés, fostering impromptu brainstorming sessions or casual networking. A hybrid-ready training room adapts to different formats, from large team meetings to focused workshops. Meeting rooms are equipped with smart technology to support seamless collaboration, whether in-person or remote. By designing with flexibility in mind, companies future-proof their workspaces, ensuring they remain valuable and efficient for years to come.
