DESIGN SNEAK PREVIEW: MEDIA COMPANY’S RETURN TO OFFICE UPDATES
The rendering you see above is the first look inside the future of a media company’s New York City HQ. It’s inviting, it’s curvy, and it’s collaborative.
FUTURE REDEFINED
The company has partnered with Infinity Group for the design and build of a newly renovated space that employees can return to after months of remote work.
WHAT’S CHANGING?
We are working with the company’s leadership to upgrade and add new commercial-grade furniture. We are also providing more technologically advanced LED lighting for them with better photometrics, energy efficiency, and less glare.
We’ve learned so much over the last year and a half with COVID-19. We’re tracking new workspace behaviors, and that’s informing our tailored return to office plans for clients. As a result, Infinity Group’s Design team has helped companies big and small rethink the usage of their square footage to accommodate a hybrid work model.
HYBRID HOW-TO
“A lot of the spaces we are designing are for companies implementing hybrid work. Traditionally, you have a workstation or a single area that you might have gone to most of the day. Now, the workspace can be more collaborative and more intuitive. The employee can be at the desk for some time, be at a collaboration area another time, in a large training room, or even socializing in another area after hours. We really want to look at the whole workspace and how the employee works into that and not just focusing on their individual private space,” said Corey Edwards, Infinity Group Director of Client Relations.
